Time waits for no one!!:

Wow, I know!!!! Now don't fall off your seats in shock there, I know 2 posts in one week, it doesn't happen very often hey!!!

Well I am feeling a little better today, so I have been trying to catch up on a few things, none of which includes housework!!!! LOL I'm still on strike!!!! Will be interesting to see how much Don and the Kids do tomorrow!!! Since I have stopped worring about it, my stress levels have dropped considerably!!!! LOL
Can't say the same about Don's stress levels though!!!! Oh revenge is sweet!!! LOL

Anyway back to scrapping, here are my 2 latest LO's for the How Dare You! Aussie Dares site!!

Dare #4 The Angel one is my new niece, we had to use Coffee Filter papers for this one. Underneath all the flowers is some of the new Urban Lily papers!!! , and the other is for Dare #5 "Focus" This one also doubled for Audrey's CJ, we had to use circles in this round, I love it when I can kill two birds with one stone. The journaling reads "Why is it so easy to lose site of the bigger picture in life. Maintaining that balance in life is easier said than done! It is hard to always stay focused, but I try!!"

Somewhere I can sit back and do nothing for a while!!! How nice would that be!!!

After another couple of big weeks and ill health I am feeling very tired at the moment!!! Says the one who is still sitting here at 1.30am trying to catch up on a few things.

What I have been up too??? Well where do I start????

Work as usual is busy and the hours are long and I am so over it at the moment. I have so many other things I want to do but find it impossible while I am having to work all time. I am hoping the salon sells soon so I can get on with the next chapter of my life!

My kids have really been pissing me off lately!! Don't get me wrong I do love them dearly, but they have been inconsiderate selfish little shits!! And while I have been sick and run down I have had no patience for them and I haven't had any help from them either. They can't do anything unless I harp on at them to get it done, I get so sick of hearing the sound of my own voice!! So this week I have just been doing what the kids do, absolutely nothing!!!!! I haven't asked them to do one single thing this week, not even to brush their teeth or do the dishes or anything!!! & You know what I don't think they even noticed!!!! Grrrrr I have had to grit my teeth every time I walked past the sink full of dirty dishes!!!
Don is home again today and I have left it up to him to organise the kids and start cracking the whip!!!
So I guess we will just have to wait and see if the rest of my family start pulling their weight around here!
Sorry to harp on, I just had to get a couple of things off my chest here!!

Now on a more happier note, we had the Scrap Happy retreat on the weekend!! It was great catching up with everyone!!! And it was great to see Trish, Kerrin & Ngaire again!!! As always Kim, Ray & Patsie did a great job again!!! It was also great to catch up with Marni as well!! All the girls were fabulous, You can always guarantee a great time when those Middlemount and Mackay Moles get together!!! That is an affectionate term too in case you were wondering!!
I taught a class on Doodling which went really well, I think everyone really enjoyed it!!! I definitely did!! Here is the cover of my doodling journal, everyone had fun doodling their covers!!!

I have been playing with photoshop again lately as you can see by my new banner, just wish I had more time to get into it seriously. I also created my own swirly brushes from my doodling the possibilities are endless.
I have picked up a lot of tips and tricks from Craig Campbell @ Watch & Learn Photoshop, They are lessons you can view that has a voice step by step and shows you where to click for what. Very easy tutorials to follow. All you need to do is sign up for the free tutorials, and one will be sent to your email every couple of weeks. I have learnt heaps from this site, you also have the option to purchase the full kits.
Another thing I have been playing with in photoshop is actions, I got this link for free downloads from a Rachel Richter article in Scrapbooking Memories, Action Central The Photoshop Action Exchange. Something else I would like to get into more too!!!
