Yes I know I have been a bad blogger lately, but I have had so much going on lately, and I always seem to be busy!!! No rest for the wicked hey!!!! :) So I'm sorry to all those who regulary drop by and see the same boring things!! I always have the best of intentions, but time seems to slip by so quickly. A week seems to turn into a month before I know it!!! Life in general is going by far too quickly!!! I wish I could make it slow down somehow!!!!
OK where have I been, what have I been doing, and what's been happening????????
Work has been keeping me busy with being back full time, I still haven't sold the Salon yet, so it has been taking up the bulk of my time. And Don is working 4 on 4 off so he is away for 4 days at a time, so keeping up with the kids and everything else while he is away has been exhausting too!!
Although he seems to create more work when he gets home and all the routines I get the kids into seem to go out the back door as he walks through front door!!! Some days I don't know why I bother!!!
Anyway the kids keep us running around all over the country for one thing or another. They recently had thier sports day and did very well!! Leonii won the Age Champion for 13yrs Girls (Even with stitches still in her shoulder) and Wiliam got Runners Up for the 11yrs Boys Age Champion!! I am very proud of both their achievements. BUt I am always proud of them regardless!!! What mother isn't hey!!!
Any way here a few pics of their sports day.....

We have also been all over the Country for Wil's Football, he has been improving every time he play's, and has been averaging 1 to 3 tries a game.
His home team have been going very well this season and are second on the ladder at the moment, so I dare say they will be in the finals this year!!! (More Travelling)
A couple of months ago they had the school zone tryouts which he made the Denim Zone for our district and also made into the possible and probables for the Capricorn zone team for the state trials.
Then in the school holidays we travelled 7 hours to Townsville for the Lauri Spinner Shield under 11's competition!! The boys did us proud with winning 2 games and drawing one and losing one by 2. So in all they played some brilliant football for the weekend!!! My Mum & Dad also come up for the trip, it was great having Grandma & Grandad to cheer Wil along too!! Then on the Saturday night we all got to go to the Cowboys game at the Dairy Farmer Stadium and 8 boys from each team got to do a relay race across the field at half time!! It was a great night!! But a long way to go for a couple of days football!! Was fun all the same!~!

Leonii has also been very busy in the Dancing department doing exams, she had to travel to Moranbah for her exams and got Honours for her Tap - Elementary Bronze and Highly Commended for her Modern Jazz - Grade 3. She is such a natural when it comes to dancing, actually she is a natural when it has anything to do with a stage!!! lol!! But most of all she just loves it!!
On the Leonii front she is fast becoming a young lady!! My little girl is growing so fast before my eyes!! Actually they are both growing up too fast!!! I love the ages they are at the moment!!!!
Leonii was also involved in a performance night, and was in the musical and played in the school band, Here are some pics from the performance night and also those stitches that she had for ages, she still had them in on this night and had her second lot in for the sports day. It all started with a cyst like lump she had on her shoulder for a long time. When it was cut out the Doc discovered it was a fibrous lump and sent it away for testing, luckily it came back all clear. She had the stitches in for a week then got them out the following week on the Friday morning before school, by lunch time she was in the ambulance back to the doctors to get them stitched back up again, cause she split it back open doing triple jump at school for sports day. She was very brave through it all though, I was the one feeling a bit yuck in the stomach!!! So we left the second lot in for 2 weeks which she still had in for sports day, well we left them in so she could do sports day!!! She is a hard kid to get to slow down for a while, she wouldn't even let a few little stitches get in the way of what she wanted to do!!! Don't know if that is determination of just pig headed!!! LOL But I admire her for it all the same!!

And some not so good news, my Neice Cathryn 13yrs was badly burnt with boiling water from an urn a couple of weeks ago, it got her on both arms from her elbos to her wrists and one hand and across her stomach and on the tops of her legs!! She is in a bad way. she has already had one lot of skin graphs to left arm and her legs, but still has to have another op next week to do her stomach!! She is now in Townsville hospital, we had no sooner got home from Townsville from the football when she was flown up. And her Mum, my sister Carol is also expecting her third baby in the middle of all this and could go a any day now. She has been having trouble with her blood pressure. So they could both be in hospital together shortly!! We are hoping to be able to make another trip up there to see them both, but with Don's shifts and me having no one to relieve me at the salon it could prove a tad tricky!! We will just have to see what the next couple of weeks will bring!!
And last but not least for this post anyway, I also took the kids to see Crusty Demons in June too!! So in all I have had a busy few months!!! And I can't see the year getting any quieter!!
I still have more to catch up on, but this has taken me long enough, so that will have to come later!! Hopefully I will have more Scrappin stuff to show in the next post!! I did an entry for the Masters comp, but I can't share that one here yet!!! Hopefully I will get to scrap tomorrow!!! Wil had a home game of footy here today and they had to play in the rain!! It was wet and miserable, but they had another win, and Wil got 2 more tries to his name!!!
So as you can see it has been all about the kids of late!!!! But I wouldn't have it any other way and I don't want to miss a second of it!!!
Have a great day!!
Cheers
Michelle
