Hopefully this finds you with us still in one piece with the roof still intact and at the worst just with no power!
That I can live with!!! I just hope that we are all safe and sound as well as all our Friends, Family and Animals!
Hoping Queensland has had the best possible outcome in the worst possible situation!
Anyway Today I am sharing all the latest Layouts I have done for Dusty Attic!!
Not really that behind am I (MUCH) I will have more time to dedicate to my blog this year too, I have lots of ideas for a facelift and some tutorials!
I will do a couple of posts to catch up with all the Dusty Layouts!
Imagination: This was Leonii on her sports day! They had to go as something starting with the letter p So she chose a peacock! The face painting was done with Kindy Glitz and was still perfect when she got home after running around all day. Just remember to use suncream, as Leonii had all these little white spots on her face when she washed it off! :)
I have painted the chipboard pieces. Once a base colour was applied, it was just a case of applying all that gorgeous glam in the form of Perfect Pearls, Kindy Glitz and gems to add that final sparkle
Supplies: paper (Webster’s Pages, Creative Imaginations, Graphic 45) • chipboard – Decorative Trim Set & Damask (Dusty Attic) • Kindy Glitz • Distress Stickles • ink (StazOn) • Perfect Pearls • Bling (Kaiser Craft) • rickrack • beads • sequins • gems • flowers • wire
Timeless Couture: This one was done for one of the colour room challenges.
These were booth photos of my DD Leonii and her friend at her formal.
I have used the new Vine Border and Vine flourish on this one. The black on the vines were painted with a black liquid ink and the leaves with yellow paint, I finished it off with a spray of yellow glimmer mist too.
40 Years: This is my Mum playing a sport she has loved for 40 years. She is still playing Polocrosse this year at the age of 61. She has played for the same club for 40 years and is the only original member left still playing! I really admire her for this! I have had this photo to work on for awhile and was never quiet sure how to tackle it! I am very happy with the outcome though! :)
I have used the botanics accents #1 & #2 on this one and a decorative trim.
These were inked with glimmer mist then I used a white gel pen to outline some of the detail.
Xmas Cheer: This one was for a recent colour room challenge. I finally got a chance to use my DA butterflies!I love the new corner scrolls too! I have used a combination of paint, Glimmer Mists, and Distress Crackle paints and Kindy Glitz on the chipboard pieces.
I kept layering with paints, inks and sprays on the corner scrolls until I was happy with the colour,
then I used the clear rock Candy Distress Crackle paints over the top.
The butterflies were painted with green and white then added Kindy Glitz before coating
with the clear rock candy as well.
DA Used - Flutterbies-DA0389, Corner Scroll #2 - DA0464
Thanks for Looking!
Stay Safe Queensland!!
